The system-defined "Status" list is a special list that can be modified but not deleted. The Status list determines the primary "status" of a case and contains two default status items, each have a corresponding designation:
Open - The case is considered open and will still have the due date countdown running.
Closed - The case is considered closed.
You can add additional status items by selecting Add Item, and you can designate multiple items with the status of "Open" such as in the example below:
To help users quickly identify case status labels, you can apply a custom color to each item label:
You can re-order how the items will be displayed by selecting the grab icon to drag and drop items.
You can delete a list item by selecting the icon.
Note: You must always have at least one item designated as the "Open" status and one as the "Closed" status.
