You can translate the Action Management interface into any local language for your users. When a user logs in, Action Management detects the user’s language based on their End User language setting, and displays the Action Management labels in that language.
This can be accessed by clicking "Languages" in the drop-down menu located in the top banner:
Adding a Language
To add a new language, perform the following steps:
1 Add the new language to the list of Languages for your project
Select the Languages field and begin typing the name of the language you wish to add, select it from the list when it appears.
Tip: You can add as many languages as you require. Adding languages can be done one at a time or many at a time.
Tip: You can change the labels for the default English language in the same way.>
2 Download the Excel template
Click Download the template to download an Excel XLSX file containing a list of all labels that can be translated.
3 Open in Excel and add new language translations
The Excel file contains two sheets:
Project Specific - Labels for items that you have customized within your project, for example, Roles, Lists, etc.
Standard - Labels for the application areas. These items will only be modified as the application is enhanced.
Note: As project specific areas are changed in your project you may need to repeat this language translation step for new items that are added in future, such as adding a new List.
For each label shown, provide your desired language translation, for example:
Note: If there are labels that you do not wish to translate, simply copy the existing English labels.
4 Upload Excel file
Once you have completed adding all labels, save the Excel file and upload by selecting Browse:
5 Correct any missing/invalid labels
It is possible that some labels were missed or may not be valid. If this happens after uploading, an alert will be presented:
Reopen your Excel file and look for missing labels under the target language column, and make corrections where appropriate. Upload your corrected file by selecting Replace:
